- GIS’s (Gestió i Serveis Trade Center) airport division closed 2015 with ever-increasing growth in the management of new preferential services at Spain’s main airports by number of passengers (source: AENA 2015).
In addition to its presence at Madrid’s Barajas Airport and Barcelona’s El Prat, in 2015 new services provided by GIS were added in:
• Tenerife-Sur Airport: Management of the Montaña Roja VIP Lounge in conjunction with Serunión catering firm, with a 140-passenger per day capacity in a 861m2 venue at the airport’s Terminal 1 P20.
• Palma de Mallorca Airport: Comprehensive management of the Valldemossa and Formentor VIP lounges, along with the officials’ and celebrities’ lounge.
• Málaga Airport- Costa del Sol: Comprehensive management of the 2,611m2 VIP lounge located on the second floor of the airport’s Terminal 3. We are also responsible for the management of the information service, customer attention and officials’ lounge, with a team of over 20 employees providing personal attention to the more than thirteen and a half million passengers that make use of the facilities every year.
With the opening of these facilities, GIS is further consolidating its position as a strategic partner in the management of preferential services at airports. These developments add to the GIS services offered to airlines and those provided through GIS’s own brand, Premium Traveller.
